My name is Sophia Poulos and I live in Sydney, Australia.  From a young age, food has been my passionate pursuit.  Though not a professional cook, I am interested in the ways that food nourishes, comforts and sustains us.  I also love that working with food can be entertaining, challenging and fun!

I will draw on my Greek heritage and the multi-cultural influences of the melting pot that is Sydney.  At any special occasion, the Greeks may toast to “hronia polla”, meaning ‘many years’ or long life, and further, a healthy old age (“kala yeramata”).

So join me as I consider the questions of “what do I have to cook today?”, “what do I crave to eat today?” and “what do I need to cook today?”.
